The first pictures of Adele out and about after her throat surgery suggest she may have lost weight.
The singer was snapped speaking to a friend and doing some shopping, dressed in a baggy blue boyfriend-style sweater.
Despite her baggy clothes, the 23-year-old’s face and frame looked thinner than before she had the operation.
She told Rolling Stone earlier this year that her weight didn’t bother her: “My life is full of drama and I won’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like. I don’t like going to the gym.”
Adele’s album 21 was recently named as the best-selling album of the century to date.
She underwent surgery in the US to repair a haemorrhaged vocal chord and posted a message on her website after the op.
She wrote: “I’m doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes.”
“The operation was a success and I’m just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors.”
